So if that is the case, why pay six hundred bucks to get a ticket off your state record. I can tell you first hand, that the ticket will still be on your DAC, if you already have a commercial license.
Since the OP does NOT have a commercial license yet, and it will be three years from the time of the citation before he goes for one, why should he needlessly pay the six hundred bucks?

"Nyuh uh" isn't much of a rebuttal.

" Original Opinion " How do you know it will not show ? Got any facts ?

I am hoping more people get on here with their own story. I hate to spend the money but if it can get rid of it maybe I should. :(

Well, what kind of driving jobs will you be going for?

Local seasonal agriculture work? Mega carrier trainer companies? Elite hazmat haulers with black ops government contracts?

I'm no lawyer but if you already paid the fine then you've admitted to being guilty. I'm really not sure what a lawyer can do about it. Especially since it was, if I remember correctly, 18 months ago. Correct me if I'm wrong. I found the following doing a google search. You might find your answer:

Q: Received a citation for a photo light citation from august 28 2010 is there a statue of limitation

There is most definitely a statute of limitations, and it is 2 years. However, if you have already paid it, you are out of luck. If you can contact the court, you may attempt to withdraw your plea, but payment applied to the ticket pretty much puts an end to the case and makes it a conviction. You mentioned you "sent" payment. The only hope I would have is they didn't receive it. Contact the court and find out what happened. If it isn't paid already, hire a traffic attorney in your area.

Not sure , need to get CDL , I am 60 and wanting to trade careers. Was hoping to move back to the states and drive for a few years.

Black ops hmmmm sounds interesting , you know any company off hand.

I have a secret security clearance but maybe they need a lot of experience in trucking.

Lots of years of paying speeding tickets, If you do not have a commerical license it will still show on a 7 or 10 year print out but it will have no point value, its the point value that gets you, It wont be no CSA or DAC because they no not track non comerical.
