You seem very angry that we are running Hot Shot trucks. Maybe this type of work is not for you but we have explained why we do it and you still insult us. You should go talk to someone about your anger instead of trolling forums to pass judgement that you have no business passing to other drivers. If you are unhappy with what You are doing it is not Our fault. Spend a few more years than your 2 on the road before you start telling others how it is done. Or at least only tell drivers who are less successful that you.
I enjoyed the almost 20 years I put in on the road. I am retired and bored so I am doing something I enjoy in my free time. Why is that wrong? Or will you insult me for Liking driving now too?
Drive safe.
Those pick-up-truck-trying-to-be-semi things...

I have alway defined "hotshot" as a 24/7 on call serving oil fields and home most every night. What this thread is about is LTL flatbed under 40k gross. But the term hotshot has evolved into cross county hauling I suppose.
It is what it is.
Iv towed everything from kias to kenworths and did a stent in LTL flatbed with a dually. All have there place and each attracts a different style of driver
We are all running the same road abiding by the same laws and accomplishing the same goal, hauling freight and making bacon.
With all that said, I love my boat hauling... -
