Don't go with fox run unless you're desperate. We have some ex-fox run employees at our company. Crap trucks, and they pack you into trailers like sardines, and the pay is bad for nd.

I have been enjoying your thread.
I was up on the patch a few weeks ago. Hauled a bunch of 55 gallon drums of drilling fluid? from Houston Tx to Williston ND. Delivered to some company called Red River Drilling. Pretty amazing to see all the wells and drill rigs. Like a modern day gold rush. Rained so hard it was just a sloppy red mud mess everywhere... but those well fires were burning strong....
Good luck up there!! Not my kinda gig... but there is money to be made!! Be safe!!

    warhack Thanks this.

WOW! I was up there 3rd or 4th week in August, so after the fire. Guess thats why the needed more fracking fluid!! That was one hell of a fire!

Yeah they are just finishing cleaning it up. It was crazy! Still not sure what caused it. Luckily no one was there when it happened.

Well thanks to those on this forum I accepted a position as a "water hauler". Small company, free housing, no benefits; however, I have an oilfield job and that's where it starts. Pay by the hour and can do my 3 weeks on 1 week off until my house in CA is done and sold. Turned down Fox-run when I found out percentage was on net of truck and not on gross. Big difference. Think by the hour starting out is better. Hopefully hours are there cause this guy needs the bucks.

By the way I sent out over 2 dozen apps and had a few responses but most said not enough experience. Got this position without initially submitting an app. Pays to network.:biggrin_255:
