So true today a few strokes on the old keyboard and a lot of info can be found , back in time it was a phone call and the hope of getting the correct person who then sorted through piles of documents to get the info and most only went back a few pages.

Also back in the day when you accumulated too many points on one license you just started showing them another. :laughing1:

Wish I would have read this thread earlier. Okay you legal eagles tell me how or where I'm wrong in my thinking. When he asked to see bills and logs I would have asked for his certification being he was local.

I can't believe a local cop bothered to ask for your logs. Those guys generally aren't trained to enforce DOT rules for trucks.

It was pretty obvious he had no clue what he was looking at (qualcom) he jumped all over me when he saw I didn't have much time left before my 30 minute break. He said "you are all out of hrs and need to shut down for the day" LOL. I took my 30 while he was writing me my ticket LOL

I tried that in Knoxville TN one time with a city he had it and wrote me a bunch of other violations as well since aaking if he was certified to read a log book was being a ########.
Sorry the fool could not even read a log book I mean he asked, looked and goes what non for today hello its carbon paper so not only was he to blind to see it which was weird since I handed it to him opened to it but 2 copies of it was there.
Oh back in the day when I had my MO license no body ever reported to them so no points ever not even the 103 in a 70 (personal car and young and dumb).
