    Apparently some trucks have an alarm that sounds when you go OOR. Only way to shut it off is to stop and reload the route from scratch.

    That's exactly what it was like my last week as a company driver. Ran the crap out of me. I think it's on purpose just as a last ditch effort to try to get you to stay. It might also to be to keep you happy so you don't say screw it I'm quitting anyway and abandon the truck and load at a rest area.
