the (offsite recruiter) don't know as much as the drivers do....... ever the company (in house) recruiters don't know as much...

when I was buying my truck I had to deal with a in house recruiter (at the home office) and she told me that usx was going to be getting auto Volvo 780's in about 4-6 months and that usx didn't have any percentage O/O's so no reason to buy my truck..........well....... 3 years later usx is starting to get SOME auto's and usx has never ordered a Volvo in the last 6 years..... O btw I'm on percentage

    just saying

    Hello There :biggrin_25511:

    Ah.......updates.

    Haven't had a student in 4 weeks.

Sliding pay scale is indeed gone..........farewell to things not wanted.

Did you know that seagulls all face into the wind when they're on the ground?

    Unless they're eating.

Came out of the Pilot in Freemont, IN with a sandwich. As I was walking through the population of grounded feathered friends, I started jiggling the bag with my food.

Well, they all followed me across the parking lot back to my truck. They stood there, waiting for something to happen.

Being the friend to animals type, I whipped out a box of Cheez Its (who doesn't like Cheez Its), when I opened the window they all came right up waiting for a hand out (these are smart birds).

Yeah, I fed 'em. It's either that or eat 'em. I'm sure they taste just like chicken.

I kept up the Cheez It winging until I was sure everyone had something to eat.

Now they're all camped out around the truck.

Guess they know I'm a sure meal.

    Thanks for reading.

That was indeed a good read made me laugh! I was talking to a trainer yesterday at the pilot, he said the pay is 39 flat rate now. Im glad to see they are getting their ducks in a row . . . or i should i say their seagulls in a row lol! I am now working for southeast carriers, so i am quite happy, but i hope all at Usx get to actually enjoy driving now!
