I also throw my old gloves in my chain tray. To use later for chain protector and it seems to keep my chains little cleaner.

Guy I was fueling next to tonight had an interesting way of hauling his winch bar. I like it.

On my other headache rack I cut a hole and placed a piece of 2.5" exhaust pipe in the bottom of the chain tray with u bolts made a metal flap that could be locked if wanted put a piece of foam in the pipe so when I opened the flap the bar poped out about an 1" to grab it worked great except when its really cold that bar froze your hands fast. I will try to remeber to grab a pic this weekend.

I'm thinking they have 1/2" pins. Not sure if that makes them 1/2" clevis's. Best price I've found is Rual King or Farm and Fleet store.

Any one got an easy trick on fixing a cracked aluminim rub rail? Receiver pulled a stake pocket loose.

The ugly way is to drill through the rub rail and trailer skirt on either side of the pocket, then put a carriage bolt through it (5/8" or so should do it), then weld the pocket back on.

The pretty way is to pay a trailer shop the full hour's labor to clamp it down and weld everything back in place.

If you're going to try and do some bending, you're going to need to get it up around 900F first.
