I have parked at the lowes in Cleburne with my bull wagon. Not for ten but for the five or six I called ten. There was a store on the north side of the courthouse square after the road comes back togather but I can't remember what chain it was sorry it is a grocery store. The feed mill will put you up to. Hope that helps. Course the feed mill has nothin to offer other than a place to park so it may be useless to you. Hope what little info I have helps.

 

What a rush day... After empty rushed to next shipper and they loaded me pretty quickly... But something is wrong... the BOL shows almost 43,000 lbs and scale ticket shows it is no more than 28,000... But it fills heavy... I'm still thinking about re-scaling this at another place...

Today I had planned to park at a truck stop in Lodi, OH for a reset and would have about 9 mins left from my 11 and 14... BUT FREAKING TRAFFIC JAM during rush hr in Cleveland area.... totally ruined my plans... Once I realized I wouldn't make it to anywhere without getting a violation... I had to use Personal Conveyance, which is maximum of 20 miles to get to closest rest area...

But I will not stay at this rest area till Sunday at 5 am... And I want my reset before this delivery.....
So, I will use the PC again and get to Lodi tomorrow... it's 20 miles.... Hope no DOT will ask to see my elog for the next 8 days...
Ohhhh.... How much I miss paper logs... I HATE ELOG!!! And this freaking new HOS...

 

If you are referring to Burleson... they were closed... And new ones where opened... but much, much further south... Read here... "Highway Rest Area in Burleson..."

Yeah. Sorry I can't help with Cleburne. I've been there once to deliver to the Walmart DC and that was 5 years ago. I do remember not seeing much parking but the. Again 5 years ago I wasn't as "creative" as I am now

I have a freaking black box that doesn't let me cheat... and my co. HOS rules on top make it even more strict... Must show at least 8 hrs in the sleeper...

A feed mill... useless to me? No, no, no... If they allow me to park for 10... It is VERY useful.... I have EVERYTHING that I need in the truck... except the bag of ice that I have to buy almost every day...
But I have spent a Christmas weekend at a mill once... all by myself... I have taken 34 hr reset at a rest area in MD... In the summer, with no ice and no idling...
Well... but tomorrow I am going to truck stop for a shower and more bag of ice...
