Why you have to repower?

 

after last week of getting one load and sitting on it for a whole weekend, then this past week of...1800 miles that consisted of short 400-600 mile stop tarped loads i wasnt happy either. told my dm to keep me busier and stop wasting my time with these short loads. wastes a lot of time waiting to unload at stops and retarp if i have to.

sitting at loves off 65 in clanton alabama. just got here at 2320 and still a few spots open. first stop is 4 miles away. ill drive over tomorrow night or monday morning a lil early and have it ready to go so i can get out and move on to the next one.

oh i loaded at sapa extrusions. got extrusions and pipe and a preloaded trailer too. appt was 12 but i went at 11 and iy was already ready.

 

I'm assuming the other driver is going home. He has a phone number with Tucson area code so I'm betting that's it.

 

It would be great if we were notified when preloaded trailers were ready. That'd save our clocks or let us pick up and deliver early. I remember 1 preload where I was told to show up at 1200 after sitting since the day before. Got there and they let me know that the trailer was loaded 2 days prior.

 

yea when i got there these guys said it was ready around 9am. told them i was at the truck stop 5 miles away because my appt was 12.

 

Must have not been the Sapa in Pottsville. That place always has me waiting. I'm off to a lumber place in small town Mississippi for Tuesday. Gonna go early since it's a Sunday.

 

Springdale Arkansas was home for a week had a load picked up yesterday at 11 AM got 20 minutes away from the house they called me and canceled will load went back home for a 10 hour break and deadheaded up there last night so I'd be here at 7 AM load goes to Houston for drop tomorrow

 

Been pretty quiet in here lately!

Got first drop off in shreveport this morning. Off the alexandria for second and hopefully get final off in new iberia.

 

i wasnt too happy with my past two weeks, thats probably why i slowed down a bit haha.
dropped my final this morning in knoxville tn. one week was 1344 miles this past week was 1800ish.

just got a preplan for nc to tacoma wa though...so im a bit more happier now, 3100 deliver monday with a stop in OR

 

I'm coming off home time tomorrow. But the 2 weeks prior to that were the lowest since starting. Hope it just a fluke rather than something in the economy.
