I've been with them for about a year now, I don't have any real issues. Home every weekend. I could stay out if I choose too. I'm leasing a truck from them. Not exactly the greatest but it gets the job done. I run for the palatka terminal. They r good folks. They will help you with whatever you need. The freight is easy. Never any issues. It's all flatbed so you know. They do have a tanker decision and a sister company which hauls sand. Hope this lil overview helps.
RookieJ1987 and VagabondTrucker Thank this. -
I am working on getting out of the Mobile terminal. They keep you busy with minimal sit and wait time?
-
Oh, so u work for new line. What's up with all that? Why u asking then?
-
No, not yet...i am trying to get on out of the Mobile terminal. Nothing 100% yet

That's cool. I've never been to the mobile terminal. I have spoken to a few of their drivers tho. They seem like good guys. Not really anything negative to say about the company as a whole. Once you get used to working with your dispatcher, things start clicking. The freight is fairly simple.
Do you already have your own truck or planning to lease 1 from newline? -
I have seen your name somewhere, did you run for Melton in the past?

Can anyone give me information about operating from tampa or west palm terminals
-
I worked for Newline for 8 years, on and off. I worked myself to death and couldn't pay my bills. Deadhead milage was incredible, more empty miles than loaded an very little was paid for loads. A 36% broker fee was taken before fuel or other expenses leaving me with about 42 cents per mile, most of the time. I was lucky to get out while I still had a house to live in.
Operated out of the Miami terminal.
