Best paying company for EXPERIENCED company drivers?

I'm heading to Melton on the 29th for orientation...I have two years total driving and am starting at .44 cpm, one year of experience starts at that rate....
Additional .06 for Canada and
.08 for hazmat.. $40 tarp pay...and fuel bonus..48 states

 

there's one company, O/O company that pays a flat $50 for tarping.

i have a hard time beleiving company drivers can make 70 or 80%. that's generally o/o pay.

 

In my opinion i would go with jordan carriers out of natchez, ms. They start out at .43 per mile .02cpm saftey bonus, .05cpm performance bonus. And they have a 1500 dollar sighn on bonus. And most importantly you average 11, 000 miles a month if you are actually willing to work you will make great money. And I almost forgot to say you get home every weekend and all major holidays.

 

UPSF .6727 per mile. Ups .77 cents per mile.

 

Matt, do yourself a huge favor and take your time. Save your own money and stay away from the bottomless pit and trap of lease purchases. It's not worth it. How many guys do you know have had a good experience with this? This is a trap where trucking companies shift the cost of ownership of a truck to you. During the lease, the will OWN you and control your ability to make money. You sound like a relatively smart person just by the questions that your asking. Speak to people that you trust such as OOIDA. They will help you to make a good decision and avoid destroying your credit and your families future. You don't need a lease, you need to save your money, make a down payment on your own truck and get your own authority. It's not hard or complicated. I did it in 2007 and it was the best move that I have made. With your own authority, you benefit from your hard work and YOU are in control of your life. No more of 3 months on the road.

 

Good luck with Melton. I just left because u don't get the miles. And I stayed out and spent six months over there.

 

That's terrible, I pull a box at Crete and am getting .44 a mile and I don't hit at least 2600 miles a week it's my own fault.

For flatbed the best I've seen it BTC, they pay .50 a mile or 29%
