If someone gets in your truck all you needed to do is stand up and make thrusting motions with your hips.

 

They can inspect your sleeper to see if you abide by your regulations, this is limited to looking at the bed, the safety net if you are a team and ... well that's about it. There is no regulations on anything else other than space requirements.

It applies with the exception I just stated, anything else beyond that is off limits with one exception which I will talk about in a moment. YOUR 4th amendment rights go with you everywhere, even in airports believe it or not.

However there is a law that allows the Border Patrol to inspect your vehicle on entry or exit of the country, AND within I think 100 miles of any border. This is used to supplement city/county police patrols where there is a reason to pull people over and inspect their vehicles for drugs and other contraband. It has been used, not really legally, to enter homes in this area without search warrants.

 

Is it anyone's business how someone chooses to sleep, either clothed or not?

I am a solo driver and there aren't any to be used. I don't have a passenger seat or bunk safety belts.

 

I sleep completely naked most of the time. I cannot sleep with any kind of top on. It gets all twisted up when I toss around and I feel furiously clostriphobic. I can sleep with underwear and socks on, but prefer not to.

That might be TMI, but how a person is comfortable sleeping is their own business.

 

Yeah, until an emergency happens one night and you have to rush out of your truck without getting cloths on, the sight causes some old fart to have a heart attack.
