well there are other accounts that accept new drivers. JCP is one. But you would likely be home weekly to reset. your clock.

Do you know anything about the amazon account? Says get home "more than weekly" and accepts new drivers.

Indianabuck Thanks this.

Thought I heard Amazon was opening warehouse in Indy? SNI is pretty accurate in those descriptions.

Thought I'd do a quick update on how things have been going. Finishing up my 3rd week on choice now and so far so good.
First settlement was $1000 that was for basically 3 1/2 days and no truck payment minus administrative fee, insurance, plates, etc. Second settlement was $3700 and that was for a full 7 days out. Included $1000 sign on bonus disbursement and no truck payment so it would have worked out to around $1900 taking out the bonus and the truck payment. Made a booking mistake that week too and a load cancelled at the last second on Friday night, which put me behind the 8 ball as that Saturday the load board looked like a tornado went through it and the only thing left were the scraps. But that worked out OK in the end.
Today's settlement was $1950 with 2 days off last weekend. Right now for next weeks settlement I estimate I'm about $300 positive at this point with the weekend to run. That 8 hr unload killed my preplan and had to have 2 good paying light loads pulled. Then I was back behind the 8 ball and had to decide which direction I wanted to pull a heavy load. Decided to head to Kansas City and turned out OK now. Have a load to Franklin KY at about 35000 lbs that will net approximately $600 after fuel cost. Then a light $1900 load from Louisville KY to Monroe, NY that should put me around $2100-$2200 for next Friday's settlement.Drifter42, dieselfuelonly, scythe08 and 2 others Thank this. -
JCP doesn't require year experience and you're generally home Friday afternoon and leave out on Sunday.

oh man, thats a hellava decision. work the plan or bolt.

So I don't know why I didn't post this earlier, but if you're at the Indy OC in the afternoon this coming week, stop by the fuel desk and say hi. I'm there on light duty for at least another week and would love to say hi and talk about being in a truck. It's been like 3 weeks!

So I'm delivering cabinets to a Sunoco gas station in Monroe ny. I'm guessing new construction but have no idea. Should be interesting lol
