Because I hate paperwork and I don't like having to chase money. Plus, I'm lazy

The good old days are gone. You can't live in the past. You have to adapt with the times. Those thing you have listed are minor things.
i have been here 3 years and every day I say I want to quit. Lol.. Frankly I don't care if SNI don't know my name. Those who are willing to over come and adapt, will make it here. Also, I don't bleed orange.

    atruckr and Helowrenchturn2 Thank this.

Make sure you know , what's coming out of those percentages. You might have to buy your on trailer or rent one. Fuel discount might be less. You might have to find your own freight. So, don't get caught up in percentages. I like SNI because it's click and go..lol

Yes, I know. I also need to keep in mind it doesn't matter what % if I only run one 100 mi load per week. Lol. I think I just want to get away of the big boys and try the smaller family type operation. That's one reason I haven't pulled the trigger yet. Still shopping around. It's a buyers market out there right now.

You hit ALL my complaints "Spot On". I spent four hours looking for a trailer in Chicago spending most of that in traffic only to arrive at the receiver and they turned it away because it was too old. Today I showed up at the receiver and they said I was a day early...appointment tomorrow at 0830. This was my TAH load so tomorrow, on my supposed day off, I will take it to delivery.

As far as Bonus criteria....I didn't find it that hard to reach the goals set. With that said, mistakes by Customer service caused my ETA percentage to be less than what it should have been.

Support shift sucks! I have found that there are three types of DBL's. 1. First only cares about the loads 2. Second is total idiot that when I here their voice I hang up and hope for a different DBL and the last is the DBL that cares aout your situation but can't do much to help you.

Empty Trailer Management- There has to be someone in the company that is managing trailers. Every company that has asset's has an asset manager. Whoever that is is failing miserably. I was told to pick up this empty trailer at a repair shop. When I showed up the trailer was repaired but also loaded with 35000 pounds of mayonnaise. How do you lose a load of mayonnaise? The trailer hadn't been inspected since July...this happened last week by the way.

I have gotten a lot of referrals for Schneider since I started. I could have gotten more if we had APU's and we could have higher inverters.

One last fact I didn't know. Schneider has someone that there whole job is to monitor these blogs. Just found that out last week. There are over 350 blogs on this site alone related to Schneider. Just thought you should know.

Nice post and I agree 100% with what you said!

I thought it was so they would know which end of the trailer to hook to.
