Yeah I agree with you. I took a coastal LTL furniture run from SFS TWICE! and both times they loaded it backwards. I think all the loaders in SFS combined speak three words of english and have about 4 braincells amoungst them all.

Too bad Shirley left, she wasn't the nicest in the world but like you said, she got it done and got me home. I don't have to worry about it anymore however, I quit yesterday and got an awesome local job today that pays alot more, has 100X better benefits and most importantly I'll be home every night and on the weekends...

All in all W/S is a good company for those that don't mind not getting home or are single, but for us family guys it's just the place where you go get experience so you can land a killer local gig....

    Good luck to you all.

Well they don't use Sage as a school. They use their own. You are in classroom and on the road both almost daily.

You'll find that weekly miles vary greatly. One 18 day trip out I only had 5100 miles, 5300 the next and 9400 the next. It's just random. You'll talk to some drivers that get over 3000 a week and some that only get 2000. chances are you'll have good weeks and bad weeks. It was slow for many during the winter months but picked back up again. In april I logged over 12,000 miles.

    Good luck.

You can have mine. It just went to the shop for the 11th time since November.

I know..I know. That's crazy. But I'm a regional driver. so it doesn't hit me in the wallet like you OTR guys. It'll be ready in a day or so, and I'll take off again.

Ouch! that's almost twice a month. Is it the same problem every time, or different crap falling off? (If the latter, might it work to .. um.. plead for a new rig?)

Same thing pretty much. Except for this trip, new problem.

It's all been related to the electronics within components. But there were no codes being shown.

Only real issue I have about it. I told the guy what was wrong with it on day one. The latest issue, I have no clue about.

But then again. I'm just a dumb truck driver.

Ah - it's not the truck, so much, as it is the shop. Not even KY will help,I'm afraid

I just a took some time here and there to read this entire thread today. I think my eyes are about to fall out haha. But I filled out the online application and now await for a response, from W/S. Good to hear so many good responses about a company.
