I am a current new driver, lease operator for High Country, and so far I love what I see. Orientation is 2.5 days, they put you up in a very nice hotel, that has a good breakfast bar, they take you out for lunch at decent places to eat, nothing cheap.
The lease trucks are Freightliner Evolutions, with the DD15@455, 12 speed auto, which most of the drivers there like, they are getting new trucks in every week, KW's coming, with the Paccard, and some Volvo's coming next year.

Can you tell about your experience leading through this company? Are you still with them? Are you doing well here?

Okay people I have been with HCT since the 5th of Jan 2015. They put me in a 2015 pete 586 okay power, they run single drive trucks with autos' if you run van they don't expect you to chain. if you want to lease they give you 72 % payment is 850 a week for truck plus fuel, tags, maintenance, and your wage you figure it out. I am a company driver,40 cpm plus a penny for each, fuel milage, miles over 10,000,pluse outher up to 4 cpm .they have apu's also yhou will sit most weekends,

I see they are advertising for an hourly (yes you read that right, hourly) regional position in Texas. $18 an hour and claim to average 50 hours a week. I assume you'd do a bunch of shuttle runs. Talked to the recruiter and your paid off of your on duty qualcomm time. Claim to only be out 2-3 nights per week. Anyone current or former drivers who have had this gig?
