Heard a former Sunoco executive on the radio yesterday. He reported that in the 1970's as gasoline was heading upwards of $2 a gallon, the truckers in the United States went on strike for 10 days. The price stayed where it was and there has not been an event like this in 30 some years. Sounds like it may be time to do it again. :biggrin_25514:

The trucking industry can paralyze this country by your action. I have been driving 60 mph with the trucks to avoid buying additional fuel.

This guy also indicated that the earth continuously makes oil and any idea of a shortage is a scam. And what about all of our oil in Alaska that is exported?

I have tomato plants. I sell and deliver. Why would I sell them to you, 100 miles away, for a buck apiece. When my neighbor will buy them all for a buck apiece.

Profit...money talks and BS walks. And so will many Americans in the future.

If all truckers go on strike for lower diecel prices, especially OOs,I guarantee the price of crude would go down.No bread and milk in the stores would stop all this gouging! No walmart shopping,no nothing.Drastic prices call for drastic measures, sometimes ya just gotta do something.Pick a day when you can all not buy fuel and not move for one day, and just go for it.They can't afford to fire all truck drivers for a peaceful protest, they want to recover too quickly and get things movin again. Go 4 it !Whatdayasay!!! Vani:biggrin_25511:

There is no peak oil as the elected nitwits want the sheeple to believe.

Go to www.youtube.com and type in "Non Energy Crisis" by Lindsey Williams. You'll see.
