Hey Truckers Report!
I am looking to get into the trucking business...but don't know where to start as far as gaining a full understanding of the way the trucking business works.
Please advise on how you go into the trucking business and where you started to learn about this biz.
Reference material would be appreciated as would experience.
Thanks for your time...Downtime is not good time!
Sincerely
TJ

Reading the many posts here on TTR is a great place to begin, there is a vast wealth of advice and experience here to be gleaned.

This would be a good place to start; http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/experienced-truckers-advice/ , as well as this one; http://www.thetruckersreport.com/truckingindustryforum/questions-from-new-drivers/

Thank you! I was reading a ton of those articles published In the Experienced Truckers advice...sounds like a tough start.
What gets me confused is all the Paperwork/Legalities Involved in becoming your own O/O... any threads you know of dedicated to this?
Thanks in advance,
TJ -
