Taking my 34 a day earlier than expected; Target delayed tomorrow's run.

I got mine in February.

Here at my favorite hotel in Goodyear, AZ for the next 44 hours. Home time. Was sent a pplan, from my DM no less, DH to Tuscon to El Paso. Could have gotten me out of there, but at times Friday loads from there scare me. Right now the board is showing nothing but loads out of here going to CA, again. I just know that there are many that are coming from there that are going to be t-called here. Just have to wait for them to put them on the board. PHX and their games.

Doing a 10 at a PETRO in Egan LA. On my way to Milwaukee. Happy to get away from the heat.
Not thrilled with the routing...again. Loaded is 1114 but route is 1240. Extra comes from deviating west to I-39 and taking I-43 to Milwaukee. They don't want to pay the tolls on Chicago's I-294 but they don't want to pay me the extra miles either. My DM and I have had this discussion before..pay tolls or pay me but they're not getting both. Company will be paying tolls this trip. -
You probably know by now ... Montebello is the final ... Alliance is the railyard ... customer is paying discounted rates to go by rail.

A Pilot in KY.
I was in SC and am now being repositioned to Indianapolis, IN. No loads in SC I guess. 540 miles mt.
It's funny. I had to go south 35 miles to get an mt, and the paid miles actually went down when I finally got the load assignment.
I'm running off recap hours now, just enough for a decent days drive every day.
I stopped earlier than I had to tonight, just to make sure I had a parking spot. Doesn't matter in the grand scheme of things since I won't have more then 12 hours to work with for some time.HousTank Thanks this. -
Taking my break at a T/A in Mathews MO just below the 55/57 split.
Caught a raging cold from my toddler Grandaughter a couple days ago. Driving is a chore. Have a little extra time in the morning so I think I'll sleep in a little longer before heading to Milwaukee to finish this load. -
HousTank, make sure you allow yourself more time on loads until you are feeling better. You NEED the sleep!
Use that Mac9 to your advantage to give you the time.
Or, you could just take a 34 to give you a couple days to sleep and get better.HousTank Thanks this. -
And me, I'm in OH on my way to MD.
I was repositioned to Indianapolis, IN from SC. On the way here I get a pplan that picked up tonight at 2230 and delivered tomorrow morning in IL.
Less than 300 miles.
I turned it down because 'I can't drive all night after being up all day'. I was due in Indy at 1100.
About 10 minutes later I get a pplan picking up in Indianapolis by this afternoon and delivering in MD tomorrow afternoon. ~600 miles.
I grabbed that one quickly.
I get to the shipper and was told that the load was supposed to pick up yesterday, so I would be a 'work in' since they work on 'appointments only'.
I thought, great! Now I'll wait for hours to get loaded, since there was a line of trucks in front of me.
But it didn't happen that way. About 15 minutes after I hit the dock I was being loaded.
Then they forgot to give me the green light when they were finished loading, and that wasted about 45 minutes until I went in and inquired.
Still, after a 14 hour break tonight I'll have 1.5 hours extra for breaks (and whatever) before I deliver tomorrow.
All in all, a very good day.HousTank Thanks this.
