No idea personally, I know we have a lot of drivers down that way, and have a terminal in Gaston south Carolina, so I would imagine yeah there is a lot of freight down there
My TMC experience.

Savannah isn't a bad area for freight at all. Specialized side we haul out of the keen yard, and there's owens Corning, plus a bunch of lumber and stuff all around southern Georgia. I do believe you would be quite fine with freight.

Where you been battle?

Man, since I got home it's been pure insanity. I got a house and have been non stop furnishing and working on things. But I'll be back in dsm on Sunday. Switching to that fort dodge dedicated crap at least for the winter. Home more, and less waiting around I guess. We will see. I'm talking to one of my old specialized FM's tomorrow and figuring out what I should really do. Deere is stalled out cause three of their factories are shut down for the month, and harvester out of moline is the only one running right now, so that blows. A few of the guys are running boats or on line haul. I'm back though!
Gunner75 Thanks this. -
Was starting to get concerned, last I had heard was you just got back over here. You know post deployment screw ups...Was hoping that wasn't the case

I'm sorry if these questions have already been answered but I want to know about TMC, such as home time/ pay, and if starting in the winter will be a negative such as getting hired or enough loads. I live in NC near Burlington

Hometime is usually weekly, it really depends on what's hooking on for those weeks, and if any issues come up at the end of the week, like a break down. Percentage pay starts at 26%, mileage pay starts at 35%, both are performance based, you do your job, there's no reason for you not to gross at least 900 a week or more. As far as winter freight, I'm told that shouldn't be an issue as the amount I'd freight right now is beyond attacked up for each truck

I want to know what your income tax rate is in Ohio. Grossing 1k and still bringing $750-$800 home? Here in ny I have to gross around $1,250 for $800 net
-
No way of knowing what other sources of income or write-offs he or you may have as well. its hard to compare after tax income between people as everyone's circumstances are different and in the end it is a pointless exercise. -
That's a tough guesstamation. I am on per diem, and claiming 3 married. I know one of my checks 2 weeks ago was for 1300 gross, and my take home was 995
