Why is it every trucker lounge has a TV playing Law and Order?
When was the last time you witnessed a driver reading a book?
What % of drivers comb their hair? Is that % higher of lower than the % of drivers who can actively explain any one of a number of various conspiracy theories?

Re-starts get me thinking...no sure if that is a good thing or not.




While writing this I am being entertained with stories of alien encounters, religious arguments, and braggadocio about having been there and having done that...what % of drivers have egos that are trying to pass checks that their skill sets can't cover?

 

Why are u doing restart? Proper time management u can avoid restarts and still manage good miles. If your doing a restart why don't u get a hotel room?

 

Have you run Walmart dedicated? Their manager wanted to know why I wasn't running 10 hours a day; I tried to tell them that 10 hours line 3+4 precludes a re-cap but that fell on deaf ears. Maybe I could forward you their email address and let you pass on your knowledge to them.

Now that I have a shower with a rain cloud head and my water bed is heated I prefer to stay in the tractor especially if I have to pay; on a re-start I have to pay.
But having said all that...I do appreciate your implied suggestion that I need to improve my time management; have you considered a video series where you share your wisdom with us lesser mortals? During my last 5 week recap I could have watched the series and bathed in your vast pool of obvious.

 

Yep i did. Run u hard then back to dc so u can go home weekly. So if your at your dc then go home. But if u love the companionship rough n tumble truck drivers then enjoy your stay at the dc.

Are you logging the walmart store unloads as on duty? If so, why waste your 70 hr clock for that? Maybe log 5 minutes on duty at the most for the unload.

PS, you're confusing Law and Order with NCIS. And the reason why they all watch these shows like zombies is because they were all police academy rejects.

 

Walmart dedicated has 2 different divisions. General freight and grocery. General, you drop and hook, Grocery are all Consignee unloads. When I ran dedicated for them, they heavily prefer that they start you on your 70 and run you until you don't have enough hours to be of use to them. They(The UTah DC's) have always refused to run me on Recap hours.

 

I wasn't a Police Academy reject, I was too Young when theey made that movie.........I'm only driving a truck until they do a remake then it's off to Hollyweird for me.
