I was tailgated by a 4 wheeler in Wyoming around 1:30am. I was getting sick of it so I kept hitting the cruise control and decreasing my speed by 1mph. He stayed behind me. I got down to 35mph then finally pulled over in the break down lane and sat there. He stayed maybe 3 minutes then pulled out veering from lane to lane. Realized he was drunk and using me to stay on the road.

I'll only run 99 south of Manteca. Run down 5 jump over to 99 via 120. Too many stupid drivers on 99 between sac and Stockton.

I run 99 from elK grove straight to fresno, visalia, then back. 5 days a week forever lol. I've learned to deal with the idiots between those areas. But no doubt everyday there is a tree down or skid marks or fences missing lol.

    Me too.

Of course the companies aren't doing that.

There's no good reason to follow so close. If people would just think about and follow the very basic rules in every drivers hand book the roads would be much safer.

Engine on, brain off is a phenomena I don't understand.

Yeah, it's always the companies fault, ain't it?

"slower traffic keep right" well in calif we have a split speed limit so all trucks should be in the righthand lane because you are "slower" traffic,so if I'm doing 55 I should NEVER be passed by a truck, therefor tailgating should not be an issue either because you frustrated super trucker should just eaze off the fuel build up space and bring it back up to 55 at a save distance BEHIND my slowpoke truck..hehe..

Get cameras in your car, one in the rear window and one in the front. Send the pictures to the trucking company.
