You don't fail....but you also don't get a pass /or a medical card either. Like Joe posted.....no dope......no problem. You can go in looking like sasquatch.

Then they know you're trying to avoid the hair follicle and will send you home.

They put you into their holding cell and make you wait til it grows back. You do not get one phone call either. Perks of holding a cdl. Welcome to the club.joseph1135 Thanks this.

I meant for a job. They cant fail you and screw your record if you have no hair.
Who needs to take a drug test for a medical card? I took a 5 minute examination to get mine. -
Just play by the rules and life will be much smoother for you. If you came to me looking for a job and were making it difficult, I would tell you i was doing just fine before you walked into my office, show me how you can be an asset to me rather than a constant pita. Otherwise continue walking.

If a company requires it, then they require it. Don't do drugs, and it won't be an issue.

This is a really good thread, Joseph. Well done!
joseph1135 Thanks this. -
I have read every post on this thread and I found it to be very informative. In the eyes of the DMV and your employer what does convicted mean? The courts have diversionary programs that will allow offenders to partake in programs that will reduce or outright dismiss their case. Is the DMV's suspension considered convicted? Or is the verdict of your case the conviction? At any rate I believe in full disclosure and will tell prospective employers about my less than less perfect record. If this question was answered already I apologize I appreciate any feedback.

Amen to this. That persons knows who they are. Shame on them.

I will be at the 5 year mark for my DUI on 2-23-15. The actual date of pleading 'no contest' is June of 15. I KNOW this hampered me from getting picked up at several companies. Covenant was one that gave me a conditional offer and looks like I will be going with them.
Stevens told me to wait until the actual plead out date before applying.
Werner didn't say yes or no, but want me to provide them with the accident report as well before moving forward.
Like I said, I KNEW this was gonna be a bit of a speed bump, but it's water under the bridge and I'll deal with it like a man.
