That sounds great! Never had a daughter or a sister. I come from a family of brothers and sons.

 

sometimes this is better.. lol growing up I could get in a fist fight with my brother and be bros again after words. Hell a punch on the shoulder was all we had to do to understand one and other.....

girls on the other hand. They take something you say twist it and hold on to it and then they steam and figure out when and how to get payback.. could be a year from now but they will get even. Girls are scary beasts....

my wife and my mom are the only 2 people that can make me shiver and watch my back with a simple stare...

Grew up with brothers and when my mother remarried he had sons also. Now that I am married I have two girls and you talking about changing your look on things you said you would never do. I have toted pink diaper bags have to play Barbie dolls and a bunch of other things but I would not change it for the world. My wife asked me when she found out that she was pregnant what I wanted I told her as long as they are healthy I am fine and if not we will deal with that also. I also am proud of my girls. Dance gymnastics beauty pageants and everything else make it worth while.

When my two girls do the beauty pageant for our county and they call their number that they are runner up 1 thru 3 I am proud as can be but when they call their number that they have just been crowned winner of their age group I am extremely proud and you can hear me over everyone else yelling for joy. Now don't get me wrong I teach them that this a contest and any girl can win in their group (usually 7 to 14 contestants) and not to get upset. That teaches them to work on the problems that they may have. Told them if I hear them put any girl down I will make them apologize in front of everyone and then I will take them out of the pageants forever. This is an expensive thing to get into with all the dance classes dresses and everything else that goes with it but it is fun to watch them on stage. They have fun when they get to eat with Miss America. They just won't let me go can't figure that one out.
