The minute a driver gets into a yelling match with an employee the driver loses. There is nothing to be gained from that. The shipper will take the side of the employee and tell the driver to leave and never come back. It might seem like a good idea at the time, but not in the long run.

BTW, I never said anyone had to put up with it. I think I said go see the boss.

I can't remember....maybe. Nobody like that jumps to mind to be honest. There is one fella that was pretty ugly the first time I was at his place but we get along fine now. He was all wound up and I think I made him laugh somehow.

I picked up at X and delivered to Y. When I got there reciever was all upset saying load was due yesterday and proceeded to yell and fuss at me. I took out my phone. Called Chuck Norris and he punched reciever in the mouth thru the phone for me. He said everybody deserves one..........beat that.😂

Owner/operator= you are the business owner (carrier authority) and also drives the truck. Otherwise your a lease/operator or company driver... I'm a O/O and wouldn't have it any other way.

I beg to differ but to each his own. I'm not a lease operator, I own my truck and didn't do a lease purchase. ...

A lease purchase and a lease operator is not the same thing. A lease purchase requires you remain with the leasing carrier until truck is paid for. A leased on owner can take his truck to any carrier that with take him on under their authority, and a owner/op has his own authority.

Wow your a motor carrier. Whoop de do. So you're saying there were no owner operators before deregulation. That is hilarious. Owner operator describes the operation structure, similar to fleet owner. Actually if you are a corp/LLC, you're classified as a company driver lol. MC's are literally a dime a dozen. One of mine is 468xxx, the other is 537xxx, what are they, in the 9's now or has it hit a million?
