I was going to park at an "independent" truck stop on xt 290 of I-80 WY but after calling the place, found out their number is no longer in service... So, I decided to park a little earlier... And here I am...

Found a good spot so nobody can hit me...

Hey! Co. Safety director called me today... and I thought, "Oh-oh... what did I do now..." :biggrin_2554:
She told me that after going thru my Annual Review, safety records and other considerations, they decided to give me one more penny per mile...
    Oohh... :biggrin_2554:
My beginning in this co. was a little bumpy... much more challenging than what I was used before... But she said that despite of that, I've been doing a great job, they like me and want me to stay... :biggrin_25519:
I just knock on wood, keep my fingers crossed and pray every single day that everything will continue ok... I don't take anything for granted and crap happens to anybody regardless of how much experience they have... Sometimes is just a matter of luck...
Talked to a gentleman today who told me he has been driving for over 50 yrs and a year or so ago, his steer tire blew up and something caught on fire and burnt his whole cab... :biggrin_2555: He lost everything he had in the truck and was lucky to get out alive...
You all be very safe out there...
