Best wishes. Submitt applications early so you can hit the road as soon as you graduate.
Leather Helmet, mje and truckertravis84 Thank this. -
Absolute best of luck to you!!
When submitting applications, you may want to submit applications to trucking companies that have terminals as close as possible to where you live. I believe that would be Charleston SC, as stated in your profile. This should HOPEFULLY make getting home time much easier for you.truckertravis84 Thanks this. -
That's great. I am looking forward to reading your updates.

Thanks to all!!! Today went smooth, pretty much watched videos looked over pre-trip, the daily log and things of that nature. Its actually a 8am to 6pm class with 50hrs of classroom work. Then we go to the range. Thanks again for all the best wishes

Sounds like the classes I had. Strive to get and maintain good grades while in the classroom. A student from our school lost out on a job offer because his GPA was very low. Apparently some employers check and use that to determine if you will be a good employee. Perform the pre-trip anytime you have the opportunity. You will be surprised how nervous you will be when its done for the license testing..
