    I enrolled in cdl training at the Miller Motte Charleston campus. its an 8wks long weekend course from 8am-5pm. Excited and can't sleep. Wish me luck.. I will keep you updated.

    When submitting applications, you may want to submit applications to trucking companies that have terminals as close as possible to where you live. I believe that would be Charleston SC, as stated in your profile. This should HOPEFULLY make getting home time much easier for you.

    Thanks to all!!! Today went smooth, pretty much watched videos looked over pre-trip, the daily log and things of that nature. Its actually a 8am to 6pm class with 50hrs of classroom work. Then we go to the range. Thanks again for all the best wishes

    Sounds like the classes I had. Strive to get and maintain good grades while in the classroom. A student from our school lost out on a job offer because his GPA was very low. Apparently some employers check and use that to determine if you will be a good employee. Perform the pre-trip anytime you have the opportunity. You will be surprised how nervous you will be when its done for the license testing..
