It's definitely worth asking. The first 3 months I was with them(this was almost 3 years ago though), I was running in and out of Worthington, MN every other week. These loads always ran me through Madison. Obviously, it's been a while, so YMMV.

In Albert Lea MN for another day. Truck hadn't been looked at yet. My DM has assigned me a recovery in South Sioux City NE at a tow comany, so I will be catching a Greyhound next to the motel about 0830 tomorrow and dropping it at the Olathe yard. Don't know what from there. Its a newer truck. Couldn't carry everything out of the old truck. Still got a few CDs, tools and microwave in that truck. My DM says arrangements will be made. She couldn't say if I would be getting my old truck back, but the way its been breaking down, maybe thats a good thing. It is a newer truck which number ends in 14. Probably an abandon job from a newbie that couldn't handle the lease payments. Oh well hope he didnt stinky it up too bad. Deuces.

george always bring a pair of latex gloves when doing recovery. Sometimes the drivers do disgusting things in the truck that you may not want to put your bare hands on. good luck

Cleaned out 3 bags of trash in the one I recovered, before I would even leave. Here's something else to remember when doing a recovery, make sure that the book with the registration and all that stuff is in there. It's your butt, if you get caught hauling a load without it!!!
HometimeQueen, dennisroc, gntorres61 and 1 other person Thank this. -
picked up 6 recovery trucks
one guy left a stool sample on the bunk

I would be wearing an Ebola type Hazmat suit the whole time I am driving a recovery truck. That's sick ! Can't believe how some people act.

I would also be snapping pics of any damage or gross stuff on the truck. Would not want to sleep on someone else's mattress , will they pay hotel if needed.
Maybe Blue Beacon and spray out the tractor.

hello man I was thinking about getting into the lease program with transam. I was wondering of you can answer these for me. Is the lease worth the headache? Will they give you miles to make money? How are the trucks, is there always some sort of problems with them? How is the millage with them and what kind do you have? How are the people, do they try and help you or are most of them bags of douche? If you are a runner does it matter wat dm you get to make the miles or do you have to have a really good dm to get miles.Basically does transam lease blow or is it an ok choice?

We highly reccomend against leasing here. This place is good enough to get your experience in and move on. Leasing is never easy and here there are no extras outside of miles. So it is tough. I am leasing and so is Honeybadger and we scrape by sometimes but we have established ourselves here with our dispatchers but there have been lows for both of us and we both have our own reasons for leasing. If you are experienced you might want to look at another company that at the end you buy the truck for $1 at the end of these lease you still have to pay full value for the truck if you want to own it. If you do not have experience leasing is not a good option anywhere. Good luckHometimeQueen Thanks this.
