The tiny paycheck you earn at Stevens is the problem

Knight will allow pets after your training and probation (if a new driver). $400 deposit.

They must have changed their policy because I remember fellow Steven's drivers with pets. Them again they bought the basic interior on their trucks back then.

Prime allows pets but they do have a no "aggressive breed" policy. That's actually one way Prime drivers can avoid getting put in a lightweight truck.

Thanks, I talked to a recruiter the other day and they said they did. But I have talk to a dozen recruiters and I see they tell me what I want to hear. So now I really don't trust them and whoever I go with will have to put it in writing. I email them questions and some say I'll call you, instead of putting it in an email.

yes stevens changed the policy a few years ago, no pets... reason given at the time, pet owners not being respectful of others property. Translation, don't allow your dog doo doo on the concrete by the loading docks... and yes it happened at walmart.

Thank you, I have talked to them, they seem to be good people, they even put me on the phone with the safety manager. He ask several questions about my dog and said it would be fine if what I was telling him was true, just needed to meet my pup first.
    Thanks outofidea's

Nice try but prime doesnt let its company drivers out of the lightweights that easily. They do however have a pet policy i was told by my dispatch that the required pet deposit is $1,000. Seems awful steep so not sure if thats true.

Also, from what I've found from talking to various recruiters, is that those that do allow pets, may have a size restriction, so get details.
