I came to the exact same conclusion when I was researching how to get my CDL. As a driver, you end up paying one way or the other. In the end, I thought it was better to pay myself and have more control of my CDL and freedom to move.

If TransAm wants to boost its recruiting and added this benefits without taking anything away, it is a very nice little bump that should make TransAm more attractive.

The OTR experience and reefer experience that you gained with TransAm will serve you well, passport. I believe you are right....this third time back with them has not been as good of a fit for you. Time for a new adventure! You will do great!

    dennisroc and passport220 Thank this.

^I am interested in Flash's company but his email did not come through. I may also move up my leave time. Work on the clubhouse, go to the Phils and start again fresh in the spring. Could mean I would need some type of refresher training but I do have some flexibility.

In Hunker, Pa. for the night. Could have drove on but not to much in Oh to park at at this time of night so I figured it would be better to grab a spot now and get started earlier tomorrow. I hate starting after 0200. They sent me a preplan but I erased it cause they have not stuck to one preplan they have sent me the last 4-5 times and I hate having a plan and they change it at the last minute.

passport good luck, you will do well in another company. You have a good attitude and that will help you where ever you may go.

Cranky don't worry your name can not be really stolen as you are your name and all others are fakers. LOL

    Be safe out there

The worst thing about the "Cranky Yankee" bit is, last time I heard him on Roaddawg, he was either from Alabama or in Alabama. Our cranky would NEVER go there, he'd melt from all that heat!!!!

And BTW, the title of this thread is " the world according to panhandle"!!!!!
