Repeat of yesterday... 559 miles... Two loads delivered and under the third..... $900 in revenue for the day....
Saw something new today, an Atlas semi lost the entire dual wheel assembly off his trailer, the rear left two tires detached from the axle and just bounced down the road and wound up in the median... Very lucky no one hit them as this was on I 287 in Jersey at about 10 am....I also saw a semi run a four wheeler into the median because the semi wanted over and the four wheeler refused to let them.. The four wheeler wound up passing the semi on the median and cutting him off, while giving the one finger salute... This was also on I 287 in Jersey, but in the afternoon when I was heading back... Must have been something in the air today....

    Still love my job.....

    Hegemeister and freightwipper Thank this.

Hey Sadwar, are you starting to notice any improvement in your MPG as the truck and tires break in? You still lovin the truck? I'm in Charlotte right now and they are prepping my truck. (Cascadia 2015 also)

No 95 for me today. I try to stay north of Delaware, but have ventured down 81 into VA and came back through DC and Baltimore on a Sunday, so light traffic. I'm on 90 in NY near Syracuse. Headed to Niagara Falls and then back down to PA, then back to NY and back to NJ. Then back to NY and home on Thursday. That will be 7 days out and I've been running 10 hour days, so a restart is needed!

I'm getting a constant 7.8 - 8.0 mpg at 35k lb plus doing 60 mph. If I'm lighter I can go faster and get better mpg, obviously. Still like the truck, still think my steers are out of balance. Gotta get that checked still, just went over 16k miles.
    Congrats on the truck!

    Hegemeister Thanks this.

Find one of these shops to do a alignment or anything tire related. They are just the best.

Thanks. The schedule calls for a full alignment at 15k.

Running wild in NY state on my way to New Jersey.

Hey Sadwar..got to Utica and the trailer I picked up had 4 pallets in it..checked the BOL and yup it's correct.
Needless to say I don't think it weighs 15K.

We had 33 cell phone displays weighing 2300 for a 1500 mile run last week.
