Heh,.. and here I thought it was northerners that flock to the south for the winter. Here in Fla we call them Snow birds.

They pretty much destroy traffic conditions and congest virtually everywhere and everything. I guess they want it to be like up north when they are here. Small town populations triple and arent equipped for the surge.

Notherners complain about everything here,.. yet they still return to the same congested little towns to roost for the winter and poop everywhere they go. Just like snow birds. LOL

Actually the Russians that are driving fresh fish know how to drive quite well. The problems lies further southwest from the old east block, almost wish Putin put the wall back up,,,
They just stand with arms in the sky saying problem, big problem. People then require them to get a tow truck the answer always is "no money, big problem colega" Just wish they just would do some research before they come, some don't even have winter clothes.

Or when they have the right equipment but don't know a #### how to. One that was stuck in a small hill and a local driver got bored. Told them to get out so he could take wheel. Just put the truck in drive, flipped the right switches and drove the truck up the hill. Comment to the local newspaper was something like " Good tires, correct setup with 6x2 tag, nice chains, only problem was it said Volvo, should have been a Scania" :)

Anyway, winter is here know -5c at the moment, some snow on the ground and I'm running the first week with winter tires, feels like driving on marshmallows, so soft and unstable but that's the price you pay for good grip.

Thanks to tourism and the snowbirds you don't have to pay state income tax nor do you have to pay property tax on your automobiles every year.

Florida isnt a common wealth state. I grew up in Md. Lived there till 99 before moving here to Fla. Md isnt a Common wealth state either. No personal property taxes. Virginia,.. they'll tax you on virtually anything,.. especially if related to a vehicle.

That isnt northerners that do that. Snow birds who come here are cheap. They dont spend their money.

How ever,.. look up the facts. Most of our money comes from foreign tourists in Fla then national tourists. The 2 - 3 months a year that the northerners come down here dont boost our economy that much. Kids on spring break spend more money here than snow birds.

Summer time is winter time for Australia and Brazil. Rich spoiled Brazilians flock to Orlando every summer. The Brits and Europeans love to come here during the summer with their fair skin and get sun burnt. Its comical. Old folks come here to buy cheap property and live in mobile home parks and whine about the humidity and heat.

Truth be told,.. I love it here. I wouldnt have it any other way.

I like your snow machine. I remember when I got my two stage I think the neighbors were laughing until I was tearing up the snow and there little one stage was bogging down. Can not wait two fire it up I tell the wife time two let the big dog eat....she just shakes her head and laughs. She says I have problems.
