Well, I decided to go... They can't seem to keep me moving very well... I have yet to hook to a refer... And a fabulous company out of Washington State offered me a dedicated aerospace run from near the house to New Jersey, with a $1050/week guaranty!!! Oh, and I will get home weekly!!! There is another FRE driver who is quitting Celadon for the same company...

good for u.sounds like a great driving job.anything is better than celadon.i don't know how some of these companies stay afloat with the way they do drivers.good luck and keep it between the mustard and the mayo
-
Good luck!!
-
Thanks... Celadon is doing themselves well by running minis, but not good for the driver unless he is short on hours... Smokey Point is kind of like Furniture row, but much better organized... The trucks run 70, they don't micromanage the driver, and they have top notch equipment... I will be pulling a curtainside flat, or a conestoga flat, step, or double drop most of the time... Celadon will likely bankrupt me... Good luck on your journey through this, if needed there are many great companies out there to get on with...
-
Thanks, and the best of luck to you as well...

And the dominoes continue to fall......
-
It looks to me like Celadon purchased an operation that does not fit their business model... I expect Celadon will loose money on this, and only recoup what the equipment sells for... I heard that a load of meat was spoiled at the Waxahachie, Tx yard... Tyson won't allow too many of those!!!
-
No they won't keep Tyson's accounts long!

I have been pulling a conestoga from the day I left FRE. Best thing I coukd have done.

Who are you with now???
