High point, Nc. Not sure where I'm off to next, but 1196 miles is a good start to the week, having to play catch up it helps, now to keep moving!

It's that time. In retrospect I remember as a kid it snowed before Halloween a few times. That is why our costumes had to be durable and warm. (Thermal underwear easily turns into a mummy) last winter revisited the kind of winters I grew up with . I think we have been kind of spoiled as far as snowfall goes for quiete some time. (Last year being the break in the mold)
i do believe that once again, it will snow and stick on thanksgiving to bring in what is sure to be another long COLD winter. I have to say though, as much as winter can suck where I live, I can't think of anywhere else I'd prefer living year round as a compromise. We in Michigan never have hurricanes, rarely get tornado touchdowns, and although there is the existence of the missasauga rattlesnake, I have never seen one.
And my view of winter: a long break from mosquito bites and the few insects that we do have .
Mill take a blizzard over an earthquake any day.

Got a load to ATL. Not far, but I'm not sitting still and it's not ultra heavy.

As of Wednesday morning, I'll be sitting on 2018 miles on the week. I hoping for 3500, we will see!

I was trying to make up for missing a week with my blood problems, I wasn't being greedy. Just wanted to cover my bases is all.
I came through a flying j the other morning in the wee hours. They had a men's room stall taped off. I was curious, so I asked why. Turns out someone left a used syringe on the toddler chair in the big stall. Blood was dripping from it , and there was blood drops on the floor. I guess the night guard wanted to preserve the scene for police .
How is it some people are so careless? Someone's kid could have been stuck with god knows what in that thing.
