Parked Here for the Night

Parked at stop #6 until tomorrow morning when they start receiving again, then off to McAllen for the last drop.

Not sure where I'm gonna trash around down there now that the Silver Spur is closed down ???

 

The truckstops up the road are the only ones I know of.

 

yeah, there is a TA and Loves I try to stay out of the mega truck stops.

 

Might be a stripes somewhere there with truck parking. A lot of those are popping up. Good tacos there.

 

I'll have to hit up 'olhand I think he runs down there once in a while..

We stopped going down there because our brokers cut the rates so bad.

 

They would offer my former boss $.95 mile for loads heading to El Paso out of there.

Usually would deadhead to Laredo where pickings were a bit better.

 

Sitting in Tuttle Oklahoma , at the Braum Farm and Plant waiting till recieving opens in the AM....then headed to Tulsa for a load of frozen dough headed to Aurora Colorado

Talk about the middle of no where.....

 

Finally got unloaded in Shreveport but I have had enuff gonna take a nap and head for New Boston in the morning

 

Midway service plaza on the PA turnpike headed east bound , but its lookin like I should be home around 2 ish , or maybe earlier. ...

 

Cuba Mo......Mike the TA in Edinburg ain't bad.....and the rest brand new.....BUT the Burrito Bar rocks!! Lol.....kinda more mom/pop....more Indy trux than company.....all the spur nonsence moved up to the hook......relatively quiet at Ta...and Northbound rates r way down again outta the valley....why I hadn't gone done fer a month or so.....
