    Hi everyone, starting out again after twenty some years.I let my license go back in 97 and had to go back to driver school and start new. Lots of things have changed since.Anybody have some advice for someone like me? My last one at home is 16 and of course we're strapped to the hilt, need money but I don't want to get in the wrong start.

    Get all the endorsements and try for hazmat/tanker or LTL.
    Put your location on your profile so we know the hiring area you live in.
    Some excellent tanker companies will hire you.

    Thank you,Chinatown! I did get all the endorsements except for the twic and the passport for Canada.I will edit my profile I'm in north east pa in Milford.I have started putting apps in like usxpress,roehl,veriha but trying to get something at home is like pulling teeth.lol!

    Try Old Dominion; they now hire new CDL grads and is one of the best paying companies around.

    Schnieder Bulk (tankers)
    Tidewater Transit
    Superior Carriers
    Trimac Transportation

    Smith Transport now hires new CDL grads.
    Bay Valley Foods

    Also check the Indeed website for local work. Knock on some doors and ask for an application and interview.

    Try A Duie Pyle. They have some terminals in PA. Have some friends who work for them and like it. They are doing tanker work now to. Not sure which terminals though, believe it may be Mass.
