We need people willing to help others on here, not trolls. Sorry FootBallfan, you will get some on here that are just hateful but also a lot of good drivers who are here to help, ignore the trolls.

You forget Harley, the young man asked for opinions. Now what good would it do to give just one side? It's true that I am not happy as are a considerable number of drivers. I gave my opinion and I would say it wad fairly tame as limited as it was but to say that my opinion can only be taken with a grain of salt sounds like you may be leaning towards calling me a liar. Which would be like me calling you a Millis trying to keep only good things posted or a recruiters. A recruiter isnt going to tell you anything you cant read on their own website which only shows positive attributes of the company. I think the best way to get the full skinny on a company is just take a job from them and find out first hand. Let him or her make up their minds and then they can post here and give what they feel. You may agree or disagree but dont come off like this company is the best place in trucking to work. And to the original poster, if Harley asks you to use him as a reference its just so he can get a bonus for tricking others to come to the company. Sorry Harley...Did I ruin your intentions?
Boomer 1 Thanks this. -
To the original poster:
There are many drivers for Millis that are both happy and unhappy. You don't need opinions, you need facts to determine if Millis will meet your needs. If I can answer any questions for you, I will.
Better?
Incidentally, never said or implied it was the best company out there, I said I have had a good experience in.my two years here. Can I not offer an opinion based on my experience? Or can I only do that if it is the same as yours???Last edited: Oct 16, 2014

Actually I believe your statement about my opinion was 'take with a grain of salt' instead of simply ststing that you have an opinion that favors the company. The other comment referred to me ad a 'Disgruntped employee'. You're half right as I am an employee but disgruntled....not quite. Simply voicing my distrust of a company that gets you in with well worded promises of mileage but when called out on not even being close the often termed phrase is 'dowturn in the economy' or a 'slowdown with the shippers'.
I will add however. Even with differing opinions or backgrounds, most of the drivers working for Millis are top notch people and not all things are terrible at Millis. I stress my first post...There are far more worse places to drive for and there are better. As fat as the training goes you wont find many better and it gives you a stepping stone into a good career. But please, when doing your research lool
k at the website then go to a local truckstop and ask the drivers in person. Most will be willing to shed light on some issues you may want to watch for. -

I never turned down a load and only had one late delivery, which was my fault. I never complained to my dispatcher and ran my share of short loads too...so it cant be blamed on the driver as easy as some people want to do...bottom line is Millis is good to some people and some people there aren't.
