I have never put a scratch on my truck since im a very paranoid driver and watch the front maybe even more than the back, now a scratch on a trailer? yep done that, truck...no and I have been driving for over a year and a half so far, dedicated with tons of city driving and backing for almost a year of it.
traffic was ridiculous for me today, went to North Hollywood and then from there to Long Beach and it took over 2 hours to go 37 miles. From Long Beach to the 101 which is think is around 30miles that took another 1.5 hours, then went to Lancaster. Tomorrow going to Paso Robles then Valencia, he planned me "light" so he can make sure he has me Saturday if/when a Vegas with Lake Havasu pops up. -
That wonderful sensation of burning & itching inside of the ears, skin on fire & hot to the touch, the tingling jolt from turning over every few minutes. It's going to be a long trip to Laredo from Decatur.

Please do check in, often.
I'm glad that you are feeling 'somewhat' better.
I have that pain in my hip as well. Right now it is on the right side, but it changes between the right and left every year or two.
Probably from about your age, and I am nearly 59 now.fr8monkey Thanks this. -
got a change in plans today, this morning I get woken up with a voicemail that a purina was added to me after Paso Robles, because of the timing and it being a live load he had to end up pulling my 2nd load off of me and now the night planner is trying to get that covered and finding other options for me to trade with. Purina should of been done by one of the hourly drivers who do both yard and driving, now I will be sitting here for a couple hours wasting my time.

Hmmm, don't know why you are so certain that new drivers are going to damage their equipment in virtually every case. I've been with Swift 3 years now and have never ever put so much as a scratch on my tractors or any trailers I've been responsible for. No lie!!
Doing a 10 at a T/A in Rawlins WY on I-80.
Dropped my load in Cheyenne at lunch and received a ppln to do a 300 DH to Westvaco WY (Little America) for a live load in the morning going to Chi-Town with a Monday night delivery or early Tuesday. All roads lead to Chicago for me but no complaints. Always get good runs around the GLR and for months now I've stayed off the East Coast, West Coast and the Appalachians. Seen plenty of the Rockies though.
Near perfection for me with Swift is consistent 3K miles a week, and keep me between the Appalachians and the Rockies AND between Canada and Mexico. Since the first of the year they're at about 98% of giving me what I want. If I can squeeze in a 500 miler after Chicago delivering on Wednesday I'll get 3200 miles for this week.dptrucker Thanks this. -
