Cummins ISX CM871 Technical discussion

Is that JUST the newer pumps? My ISX is an 09

 

A truck can't run long eating it's own waist.... Carbon caked to the intake ??? Who dreamed this garage up? Do the tree huggers realize the amount of materials robbed from the earth and pollution involved to make all these parts over and over ???? Looks like our landfills will be full of DEF related junk ... But anyway That Dozer such an easy fix and like mine may not even show up on the puter. Makes the laptop kick out all kinds of codes. Could someone list all the sensors a person needs to change every 300k ?? Thanks

 

From what I was told a while back from cummins the fuel pumps that attackkatt is talking about are on the cm2250 engines

 

IDK how long they have been playing with this ceramic plunger, but I think the numbers for mine started 2010 .

2009 Volvo D13 435 HP. Mine loosing couple galloons of coolant every week I have changed almost everithing on my SCR system and still losing coolant,i have no idea what else have to change .Also when is running regen have white smoke. Next week planing to change injectors cups.

Any sugestons ?

Probably cups and injectors. Smoke during regen could be a bad doc, dpf or over fueling injector.
