They'll probably have him do the slow maneuver course on the simulator, which unfortunately simulates truck driving at the same level that my powerwheels truck with a dead battery did when I was a kid.

Des Moines OC/Urbandale Pilot.

Edit: at the Sleep Inn in Urbandale, Iowa. Getting switched into this Home Run Pod so I don't have any keys to the truck yet. I was told that the driver would be at the OC for his week home at 18:00. He locked the keys in the truck and everyone at the OC was gone for the night. I decided a hundred dollar hotel room was better than sleeping in my car. Expensive start to this trip for me. Ah well #### happens.

 

I-196 WB rest area. Close to Holland, I think. 622 miles today, one unload, one load. Stupid ### trailer had belly valve issues while unloading. Sigh. I have a newer trailer now, though. Cross fingers that it works better than the last one...

 

At the house..Was gonna leave out tomorrow, but I said screw it. Friday will work.

 

Wait until it's -10 degrees and nothing wants to work correctly LOL

 

Petro, I80 Girard, Oh.. I got $300 detention pay. I was out of hours anyway, so it worked out. I got to keep my pre assignment picked that up and now I'm 20 miles from my drop.
