Very sad news PackRat. My condolences.

 

carrollton NY some no name truckstop where they routed us off 86 while working on the bridges this summer.
16 mi from pick up in Bradford PA be in MI tomorrow night short run but doubt I make it before they close.

 

Flying J in Kirksville OH. The type of truckstop where you pull in and think there's no parking since they are double parked in front and all along the curb. Then you get to the back row and there are literally 25 spots open.

I am very sorry man... But yes... she IS in a better place now... and maybe watching over you... Glad to know you had a chance to see her with your kids not long ago... May she RIP... My sympathies to you and your family...

 

What an UNPRODUCTIVE day today was... Consignee was going to unload me in the middle of his yard... and expected me to bring all 42 pieces of big boxes to the tail of the trailer and put them on pallets so he could unload with his fork lift... Ooohhh... I don't think so... Definitely not happening...
Broker and my co. had told me this was a no-touch load...
So, I called DSP and she got in contact with broker... but it took them almost 4 hrs to find someone to go there and do the labor...
And the load that I was going to pick up today at 13:00 had to be rescheduled for tomorrow...

So... I had to change the original route to the next shipper so that I could find a free truck stop to park this evening... So... I didn't take US 101 Took some restricted roads instead... Still the same amount of miles...
And now I am parked at this rotten truck stop on I-5...



I mean, the name of the truck stop is Rotten something... And I am about 35 miles from shipper I am going tomorrow.
