Yeah but Des Moines is covering it anyway. They called and had it switched over before my card was charged. Finally we got into the truck and now I'm Interstate Power Systems in Altoona, Iowa waiting to have a check engine light and engine code looked at. What a lovely start to this 2 week trip.

I-196 rest area. Nice quiet place...not. Oh, well...I will be asleep soon and won't hear the traffic (and that's the noise, not trucks drag racing through the lot like at the Grand Ledge hook...)

Thought I saw Doc & his new ride today, but the last number was different. Was headed north on 94 in WI, and I was headed south.

 

Tiffin, IA rest area on I80 EB. Didn't drive much today but at least the truck is fixed.

Boise, ID. Home. Changed out my sleeper bags / shocks and changed out all shocks around the truck. Was surprised the parts were cheap about $500 in shocks and $340 per sleeper bag shock as they are all in one units. With discounts from knight it was $680 and labor was done by me so free. 😃
