The company I pulled cows for is doing New Mexico turns from Pennsylvania..

I'm too old for that, thus the name on the door changed.

I once had a load of plastics (sheets on pallets) on my reefer that went to a place with no docks. They had one of these pallet pullers and a logging chain. Hooked them to the forklift and dragged them to the tail, then forked them and took them off. The whole load came off faster than a frozen food load at a properly equipped freezer, which isn't saying much actually LOL. Would not have helped them if your boxes were floor loaded, but might be worth your carrier suggesting to that consignee if it's a regular delivery.

You will do just fine... BTW, how was your road test? Remember you were saying you never drove those trucks with those transmissions before...? And I guess you did just fine, huh?

Thank you for the tip... But the big boxes were on the floor... and had to be put on pallets before unloaded... I hope I never go back to that customer... And probably never will...

So... got loaded in CA today... And receiver in TX gave me 3 options for delivery time... Monday at 1 am or 2 or 4 am... or Monday at 17:00... But if I can get there on Sat. around 16:30 they will unload me... So... I am REALLY pushing in this slow truck to be there on Sat. and reset before next load on Monday...
Was going to park at a rest area in AZ but the stinking place is closed for construction or whatever... :biggrin_25510: Soooo... I drove all my hrs... And didn't waste time trying to find a place to park at Petro in AZ at 22:15 local time.... :biggrin_25512: Parked at a big dirt lot right across from Petro.... :yes2557: Very easy in and out... There are a few trucks here and every body is very quiet... I like that... :biggrin_25519:
