Operation Safe Driver October 19-25th I believe. So its over now, but the DOT never stops.

 

Yep... 19th to the 25th was a national blitz.

 

Sounds like they are getting drivers who avoided the blitz week but i came down to Mississippi from new york state and didnt see an open scale or more then 2 cops

 

I was wondering why I was getting red lighted the other day with an empty trailer.

 

Yes. End's today..... been red lighted a couple times through IL/IN also got pulled over on a highway for a Level 2 Inspection in Indiana randomly.......... jeez! (passed with a clean inspection, $250 bonus from my company ;D) but yeah, it's done today.

 

I got pulled into the Mississippi scale on 20 Friday eve. Had to show the cab card and my CDL.

Then on Saturday, there had to be 15 cops working the construction zone on 20 in Alabama near the Georgia border. Cars and trucks pulled over everywhere....But all the Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and North Carolina scales I passed were closed...
