Heading SW on highway 19 & turning South on 77 in Paul's Valley, OK: RM wants you to go past the 77 turn and take an unnecessary detour a block or so down the road.
Kent's truck stop (OK i35 exit 66) is on the SE corner of the interchange, not the SW.

In your second paragraph you stated they are working on bugs in the new units. That is what the person I spoke to said after he put me on hold and went and asked someone else about it. He, when came back said they are concentrating the efforts to fix bugs in the new units. So this is a true statement.
In an earlier post of yours addressing the hywy 24 in Ohio this is what you said,
Ok so it's been done for a year. Add another year for the state to sign off and update their maps then it has to get passed to rand who verifies the changes and add it to the database and add all the other info associated with that.
Be patient people it's not a instant upgrade to do this stuff.
I'll except that but this time when I left home I grabbed my wife's cheap Garmin and brought it along. I have gone across the hywy 24 in Ohio and it showed it all the way. I have also traveled the toll road 130 around Austin all the way down to Interstate 10. The RM 720 shows the road to the south side but doesn't have it all the way to interstate 10. The Garmin routed me that way as the fastest time but the 720 kept wanted me to take all sorts of roads because 130 wasn't there.
I don't know what mapping source they use but it is up to date for a $99 unit. If they can have those roads available to them why can't RM?double yellow Thanks this. -
There is a scheduled update for the maps, but I cannot release that information till RM makes it public. I do not handle marketing nor business decisions.
The versions that are being worked on also affect the other models also. I test on x10/x20/x30 models. Any version that an issue is found will affect the prior models since they will probably be getting that version release. It makes sense to test a version on one model and when it is ready and passes QA for x model, then it has to be tested on prior models for the version and Map set. Hardware and OS firmware are different for each model and some parts of the code had to be basically "rethought" again for the faster x30 models. This in turn will make the code better for prior models.
In the prior statement a lot of what a road has to go through to be finally put into a map set is what I was referring to. Just because a road or freeway is now allowing traffic does not mean it has been signed off by DOT for that state. A map company does not just get the information that I-xx is now done. A lot of information on that road has to be passed on. For a car not so much, but for truck routing yes.
Again, till RM makes public a release date I cannot say much on this subject.
Thanks,

I have suggested that if you are not happy with the late delivery of the Next set of Maps that you contact RM and let them know your concerns.
This is a support thread and not a bashing thread for an product release which I have no control over.
I work on supporting those issues that I do have some control over such as a bug or routing issue.
Now if you think I have not provided support for the past 4-5 years, all days of the week, many hours at night when RM is closed for the day or weekend and you have needed help let me know.
No more bashing. If you have a true support issue then by all means post it here.
Thanks,
MarkDitch Doctor, free2frog and mattbnr Thank this. -

I have the 530. How do I see the estimated toll cost?
-
Yes the BP.
There is also a small truck stop (Speedy's) in Elmore City, OK on ok29 with parking for a dozen or so trucks.
And a mid-size truck stop with a restaurant at the NW corner of 81 & 7 in Marlow, OK (Kwik Mart). Parking for ~maybe 50 trucksMark Kling Thanks this. -
I had a support issue, there was no support, I was told to wait because the new models are more important that the existing customer base.

Well today was my two week wait before calling RM tech about map updates. They always say check back in two weeks.
Today I got different answer. First thing said was to call back when connected to computer and would remove the message saying my maps are outdated.
Then he said there is a map update scheduled after 1st of November. Said would be out in next two weeks. He apologized for it being so over due.
Feel maybe, just maybe all the people complaining has actually helped.mattbnr Thanks this.
