When I did drop and hooks for Werner at General Mills I would scale there and they were always heavy on the trailer axles and the cashiers would always say General mills? They were used to those loads lol!

DSP couldn't find a load for me yet...
so... I'm still here, at Pilot... but not watching TV or staring at the windshield...
Have been busy, planning things, doing online searches, phone calls, scheduling things for my "hometime" week which will be 2 weeks from now...
Hey, never been at Cabela's either... I wonder about the origin of this name... it's a weird name... -
you don't have to state the obvious we knew that..

I finally did get to tour a Cabellas in Shartlesville, PA. A lot of stuff I wouldn't have use for as well, the few exceptions I already have or would shop for a better price elsewhere. Nice selection of pistol ammo, guessing that their price being 2x everywhere else is why they had any.
They do have a pretty cool wildlife display inside. If you see something you like, you can go around the corner, buy a gun, maybe some fresh camo outfits, then go shoot one for yourself.
Speaking of which, the roads seem suddenly littered with bambi carcasses this weekend. I quit counting at about 10 after about 400 miles. It's that time of year again to watch for the suicidal ones. -
Funny story. My last job in my previous career was in project management for a German I/T company. My manager lived in Dallas and hosted our planning meetings at the BassPro Embassy Suites near the airport. You couldn't not go in there at least once during the week.
After fighting each other over project schedules and resources, we'd head over to the Bass Pro gun range for some team building. The occasional German guests in from HQ were especially cool with that, since those are verboten at home. -
I'm almost as tall as you watch out
Tall Mike Thanks this.
