3 Preventable accidents in 5 months

Before we get to number 2 can someone explain the poll options?

 

Sounds like the trailer was sitting very low so low that the 5th wheel couldn't get under with the airbags inflated.

I'm new to trucking first year and do a lot of drop and hooks and no clue what he is talking about. Unless he high hooked the trailer and took off dropping the trailer on the ground?

 

Truckzee, I have to ask a couple of questions here. First, is English your first language? Second are you posting from a (not too) smart phone? I'm not being a wise guy, but your posts are impossible to understand, and you are not doing anything to respond to questions.
So that sort of makes you look like you are just trolling. OTOH, if you are posting from a phone, those can be a pain to use. Use a PC. Stop by a library and use theirs if you have to. If you are not a primary English speaker, let us know.
Because something in your posts here just does not look logical.

I was making a right turn in El Paso, tight corner, and stopped just short of hitting a light pole. I looked in the mirror, knowing it was tight, and so made a complete ### of myself holding a bunch of cars while I got around using lots of lanes. OP, you gotta slow down, bro. Use your defensive techniques, like looking in mirrors, goaling, just take it easy. And don't try to soft sell these things, just be right out front, own them, and you'll get a little respect for that. After all, everybody knows things happen. About the DOT and FMCSA? Depends on who's doing the reporting, I guess. Did you get cited for the light pole? If so, all the agencies will probably find out.

 

But seriously though. I have to know. Was there a traffic light completely down blocking travel lanes? If so, pleeeeeeease tell me you have photographic evidence.
