Don't Flash Your Brights

I cut them some slack if they are driving a Paccar/Volvo product and a Utility trailer since some genius at Utility decided to start wiring the rear marker lamps to the tail circuit and not the marker circuit in 2000. They may have flashed me and I didn't see.

I peg that as the year Utility switched as all the 99 and older trailers at Stevens had the rear marker lamps wired to the marker lamp circuit.

Wabash trailers are the best trailers for marker flashing, the rear top lamps and outside tail lamps flash with the marker flash.

 

Which states please?

Well, the OP would hate me, because I can't turn my headlights off, they are called Daytime Running lights, as soon as I release my tractor brakes they come on, when I turn my headlights on, they are only minimally brighter than the DRL's, so that leaves me with two options, high beam flash or do nothing. Following the logic of the OP and others, in the future I will do nothing. Since my truck runs 78 mph, it's generally only bullhaulers (unless I'm in Wyo.) that can pass me anyhow, so I really don't have much to worry about.

Driving that slow on the interstate without 4 ways is a good way to get rear ended IMO. There is a new thing out called distracted driving.
