That is pretty highly unrealistic if you ask me. Just running from Florida to Washington all of the time? As a matter of fact, maybe I should have come up with this exact reason to run crazy good routes like that LOL.

Personally I don't think it's going to happen. I know Sadwar had a DBL that bounced him from California to Florida and back all the time, but to get preferential treatment like that is few and far between.

Believe me I'm realistic, I know there's no fairy tale route like that. I figured I would have to zig zag across the country. Spoke to a recruiter and they said nothing south of Jacksonville, FL. I imagined running quite a few short loads to get back and forth. Thanks for the response anyway.

Not always true, We haul milk from Boise, ID to Arcadia, FL. Then turn around and haul Delmonte out of Tampa to Kent, WA. Pretty common route, rough as heck on your hours tho. :biggrin_25523:

Getting it as a permanent route would be hellish tho. Pays good coming into FL and crap (even for Delmonte) going back.

That's good to know, thanks Fajo. I'll keep that in mind. Like I said I'm a realist but at least now I would know where to go to get the freight that is headed that way. I know to make money you have to stay in the seat and in the freight traffic lanes. Just goo to know they have something down there.

Pilot in Burns Harbor, IN. I was going to go further (didn't have to though) but I got stuck in a major traffic jam. I spent literally almost an hour completely stopped on I55N in Illinois 4 miles from I80W. It put me on duty and I haven't changed it because I've never had this happen before so I don't know how to log that hour.

You probably did. I was in the right lane pretty close to the bridge.
