pilot.madison,ga. i am all lit up and idling and listening to the dual exhausts rumble via the twin breathers that have new filters in each while i enjoy TTR and getting ready to sleep after consumption of (left blank).gainesville thursday a.m. for a pto tower w/feathering stick and perhaps an engine mount for the now unused apu that sits idly underneath the right side of the bunk.soon i'll have my choice of whether to idle or not but only if the apu can be coaxed into a user friendly format as i am not particular regarding the manner in which i am comfortable but only that i am comfortable.

I shall not lose sleep over not obtaining nor earning a fuel mileage bonus for not idling and i have not completed my loose leaf logs for the day.

Coming from someone that hauls livestock, that's gotta be bad.

PS: I made the same observation at the TA in Jessup, MD. I was thinking the paving company actually bought the asphalt with urine blended in. Or at least spraying it on the roller to keep it from sticking when they did the finish grade.

 

I think I know the one you are talking about. She offered herself to me while I was doing my post trip one day.

I'd just assume #### myself than her.

 

Parked at the Waverly Truck Stop in Delhi, LA. Beggars can't be choosers when you're at 668 miles for the day.

If memory serves this was the old Tiger Truck Stop.

 

I am running again... to bed that is... Cause I decided and told my DSP that my ETA to receiver will be tomorrow at 11 am in DE... And after empty will pick up another load in PA and rush to IN...
I am now at that HUGE truck stop in Raphine, VA... Got here tonight and found a "good" spot at the end near the repair shop...
Funny... there's a shuttle van for folks to ride to and from restaurant in the building here... I know, I know... it's a little far... but c'mon... These fat truck drivers need to exercise some...
Me... I got everything that I need right here in the truck... Will not need to go anywhere for nothing... Maybe to the restroom at the repair shop tomorrow...

Other funny thing... was doing my post trip tonight and cleaning the windshields, and driver next to me said... "Hey, you make us, professional truck drivers look bad..."
Well... I told him, I gotta make sure everything is fine and better do it at the end of my drive when I still have some energy and trying to wind down... Cause in the morning, all I like doing is have my breakfast, wash my face and gooooooo....

HA! Last time I stayed there shuttle driver must have offered me a ride at least 3 different times. Guess he couldn't believe some of us actually like to walk

 

I'd take the shuttle, eat then walk back.
